First off, I have been drawing the image above (using it as a reference) and I must say I am quite proud of it so far, seeing as I have not had experience with drawing far past stick-figures, turns out if you have a great deal of patience, you really can draw! I'll likely be finishing up in a few days or so, in which I'll show it then, anyway, just wanted to throw that out there, now... The Beta!
Now I am not all that knowledgeable about betas, but Destiny is supposed to be about the exploration, and rich story and world, so how much should we really expect in the beta? Halo: Reach was different because it was... well, Halo, and matchmaking ran the show. Destiny is said not to have any of that - at least not in the way Halo did, don't think I mean to say there is not competitive multiplayer, which I'm sure will be in the beta. I'd imagine having lots to play and explore is important for the full release of Destiny, and if we were able to trolley about wherever we pleased, it would cut away from the full release.
Anyone would know this is quite obvious, however, how limited we will be for instance, is the question. Destiny undoubtedly will have a vast sandbox for customization, and going back to the Reach beta, we only had a few toys to mess with and see before jumping in with both feet. They said Old Russia was one of the first areas we will be exploring, so maybe that will be a key-area for playing the beta? I'm really interested to see just how much we will get to do.

Those are just a few thoughts I had about the beta, though, among other things I have been quite intrigued. I expected a big jump in graphic fidelity from last generation to now, but I am just breath-taken at the beauty of Destiny on the new consoles. I am not saying it won't be great on the old consoles too, Battlefield 4 was still awesome to play on my 360, but having a bigger punch in the graphic power never hurts... unless that punch was literal, then it might. I've seen many of the variations of colors/attachments/styles the weapons and armor has, so I am really looking forward to seeing how far personal and cosmetic customization go.
lastly...seeing the game No Man's Sky, and how the ship could fly up into space like it did could be clear indication of just how easy it would be for Bungie to have a similar thing for us, and you could be able to fly around outside a planet in your ship, and just hit a FTL (Faster Than Light) button that could quickly blast you over to another planet or area in space, and there could be space-warfare. (Besides, remember Halo Reach and the Sabre? I'm no expert but it definitely looks very similar to the personal ships we have seen in Destiny.

Well, that's all I've got for now. Share your thoughts!
