The Necromancer, lets talk about him. Is he still a shadowy figure orrrrrr?

Awesome. Me being the spoiler addict that I am I gotta ask
What happens in Dol Guldur? I heard that everything doesn't look how it seems until Gandalf expels some illusion. Seen it in a review and the writer didn't go into much detail.
I also want to ask
Bolg, is he in it?
Edited by GKR: 12/13/2013 5:03:21 PM
Gandalf's investigation of the Necromancer ends in Dol Guldur. He arrives with Radagast, but sends him away to request aid from Galadriel and the White Council. He goes in alone and uses Elvish incantations to remove a spell placed upon Dol Guldur to hide the orc legions within. Gandalf eventually comes across Azog and his orcs, and there is a short pursuit through the fortress. It ends with Gandalf coming face-to-face with the Necromancer himself, who reveals himself to be Sauron. After a short battle between Gandalf's light and Sauron's darkness, Gandalf is overpowered by his sorcery and is imprisoned in a cage overlooking the slopes of the hill, where he sees Sauron's legions marching for war.

Yes, Bolg has made it into the film, but with a new CGI design. He takes over the hunt for Thorin and Co. after Azog returns to Dol Guldur.
