Looking for a new RPG to sink some hours into.
What I already have:
Mass Effect Trilogy
Skyrim
Oblivion
Fallout 3/New Vegas
Borderlands 1/2
Any suggestions?

Lots of good suggestions so far. I second Dragon Age and KOTOR. Bioshock? More of an FPS, but has some RPG elements. You can pick the first one up cheap now.
-
Kingdoms of amalur: reckoning is pretty good. The story lacks depth compared to skyrim or borderlands, but the combat is fun as hell.
-
Lost Odyssey is a game that was pretty cool, but barely anyone I know played it.
-
The Witcher 2
-
World of warcraft or guild wars if you have a computer.

Edited by Byrne: 12/16/2013 12:14:56 PMKingdoms of Amalur is a good one. DA:O is fairly decent. Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen I cannot stress how much you should buy Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. If you want an RPG get it, get it now. Don't think, go to the nearest Game/ Stop and buy it.

Superman 64

Deus Ex (1/Invisible War/but my favourite is Human Revolution)

Dark Souls: Can take a little getting used to at first, but is an extremely fun, addicting, and difficult RPG. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: If u can get past the extremely dated graphics, the clunky combat system, and the clunky movement system, this is truly a great RPG, due in part to it's atmosphere and it's addicting RPG gameplay. If u can get it and run it on PC, u can mod it to mostly fix the dated graphics.

Apart from everything already mentioned, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a stellar game with some great RPG-style gameplay. They've just released the Director's Cut, which I can wholeheartedly recommend!

Play Dark Souls! It doesn't really match up with any of the games on your list, but it is one of the best console RPGs ever made. Also, if you get Dark Souls and like it, I recommend Dragon's Dogma and Monster Hunter. They are both very similar to Dark Souls in some respect. All three of those games are great.
-
Add Dark Souls to that list.

The first ever fable game is pretty good. I've played a little bit of Kingdom of Amalur demo. The art style is strangely bright for a very dark story. Can't go wrong with lost planet 2. It's a shooter with RPG elements (you can customize your character, gear, and emoticons). However, you need to play the campaign over and over again to get better stuff. Also the multiplayer is ghost town. I've played the Dragon's Dogma demo, it seemed like a solid game.

Dragon Age: Origins. It is by Bioware, but has more of a Elder Scrolls feel to it. Still in third person, but is set in a world with magic, dragons, etc. And if you really got desperate, I would then try Dragon Age 2... It's kind of a shit game compared to the first, but if you are bored/desperate enough, it can be a decent game.

The SMAW is a pretty good anti-tank rocket launcher.
