I really want to be able to draw awesome stuff. Like fight scenes, monsters, hot girls, etc...
All I've been doing this whole time is using simple shapes to draw a body or anything really.
Will it be difficult studying anatomy?

It helps. Like, a lot.

To draw a human body well and be able to sylize a human body it helps A LOT.

Its not necessary. But it helps. I studied the human anatomy to be able to more better draw my favorite DC superheros, like Batman, The Flash, etc. Studying comic book illustrations also helps.

It's not necessary but it could help.

You don't necessarily have to, you can just draw things over-and-over again and you'll notice that you got better... I think.

Edited by Progo: 12/15/2013 1:20:51 AMIf you are good at remembering and thinking creatively, you'll learn the shapes as you go. If you are a very mechanical person, anatomy is a must to draw good looking people. Sauce: I am a hobbyist digital artist.

It's almost entirely a matter of practice. Don't be afraid to use references. The way that the shapes of a visualization interact will eventually become intuitive and you'll be able to draw whatever sort of pose you want based purely off of your own mental understanding of drawing. Don't rush progress, either. Continue to draw and there is literally no chance that you'll backtrack.
