No Dev Makes Better Cinematics than Blizzard
The animation, the style, the detail, the music, it's all so beautiful. The best CGI produced in gaming, bar none.

There are some good Source Filmmaker shorts out there.

They do very good. My favorites are the first 3 wow trailers.... i didn't like cataclysm or panda land's trailer. They have a problem replicating the epic moments in actual game play with a huge difference in quality from actual in game assets. You take bioshock, uncharted, the last of us, dragon age, the witcher, and mass effect which I think all have more than one moment that rival the feeling you get from a blizzard trailer but in real in-game playable sections or cut scenes.

Bioware made the best cinematic trailers for Star Wars The Old Republic. They even won awards for it.

It's certainly impressive, but I've always thought that good facial animations are what separate good cinematics from great cinematics.

i have to agree, blizz makes some pretty bawss cinematics. the graphica are always excellent and the content is too epic for this world

Even if you didn't like Halo 4, you can't deny that the cinematically were much better than previous games.
