How do you come up with usernames?

Do you usually keep the same username for different websites, or do you make a unique one for them all?

I came up with a new one not too long ago, but I'm known as Chief in so many places that I don't want to change anything, not even my shitty gamertag.

I played a game called lord of the rings online and it had a name randomizer. Eventually I got Ravendean and I've stuck with it. :)

I usually stick to one uniform one wherever I go on sites. My xbox one never changes because money. And my Steam name changes around every two weeks. On Steam, if a name pops into my head and I like it, then that's my new name. I like creating borderline offensive names or something entertaining for people to see when they kill me or vice versa.
