w00t. as far as software goes i really just use stuff like logic and garage band (not terrible for my purposes) to record. I don't do a whole lot of composition on software, I really just use it for recording and editing drum tracks. and as it is i'm still working on finishing up my recording setup so that i can get professional sound quality
