Step 1: Character creation. Make note of the extent of customization available, note any bugs, and get a feel for the UI
Step 2: Play through as much quest content as they have available solo. Again, make note of UI, any bugs and performace hiccups.
Step 3: Play some competitive multiplayer. Make notes on gameplay balance and bugs.
Step 4: Cooperative play. Note bugs and other performace issues.
Step 5: Review notes, post findings, feedback, and potential solutions to problems on B.net
Step 6: Repeat process, with a different class.
Basically, I'll be testing the game. Which is kind of the point, really.

Actually, Bungie said the main goal was to see how the servers handle with a massive influx of ppl signing on at once. They don't want to repeat the mistakes of GTA 5. But I get what you're saying. I'll be doing the same thing, but I'm investing more in character progression and exploration. I want to test the limits of Bungie's open world environments
