All she said was that she's disappointed in me and that I need faith in life. I'm serious, no disown crap or anything. What now?

OK. Welcome to the club? Seriously, why make a big deal out of it? Did she try to force you to a religious ceremony or hold you to a direct question? The reason I ask is that spirituality is a personal decision. Your confronting her with it (provided you did the "mom, I have something to say" method) would seem a little odd and hostile. Now, if she was trying to get you to say prayers, go to church or directly asked you, then please disregard what I said. That respect about spirituality is a two way street.
