Only to pass the time between now and the Destiny Beta in the summer. Any decent players got tips or tricks for little old me?...

Killzone is recommendation as a rental not a purchase

Get a better game instead. Killzone is on the weaker end of the decent-to-bad spectrum of launch titles.

Turn up the sensitivity because the default feels clunky as -blam!-. And expect the campaign to get tedious toward the end. It becomes clear that the devs were rushed toward the end of the game's development cycle. The story's meh. I mean, Guerrilla really dropped the ball on it. There's so much unexplored lore that it's a shame that we didn't see more of it. Personally I wouldn't pay $60 for it, but if you want a PS4 game to tide you over until Destiny I guess that'd be it. Although, personally I'd recommend Battlefield 4 or AC4.

Ac4 is a great game, I've played it for 14 hours and only have 15% of the main story done. [spoiler]I explore a lot[/spoiler]
