What's the deal with coffee?

Its the most disgusting thing I've ever drank in my life. I've never been to a Starbucks either and yet people go nuts over the stuff they have there and I just don't see the appeal towards it.

It's great in the mornings to help wake up. Feels good to drink something warm at that time. Also, Starbucks hardly counts as coffee that stuff is shit. Best coffee I've ever had was in Barcelona, Spain. Was just a nice blend with some milk, "Café con leche." Simple and delicious. I understand why people [i]don't[/i] like it either. If all you've tried is Starbucks then reconsider. It's an acquired taste for sure, just like alcohol, but it's great once you've got the taste for it.

You learn to embed it once you grow into your adult life. It's one of those things that everyone may assume you enjoy and is the "go to" place for first dates when meeting new people. "Hey, you want to go get some coffee?" For me, I enjoy my Starbucks just fine :-)

I've had coffee about twice in my life. Disgusting both times. I had it once to wake me up to study for a final and the other to stay up late and write an 8page paper. The first one gave me a massive headache that I had to take a nap. The second one i just put a little bit less in and got the same affect. Both times though I hate it, no me gusta.
