I really can't seem to give a shit. I don't do anything illegal on the internet (or irl for that matter), and I don't ever plan to, so why should I be concerned that the NSA might know what kind of porn I watch, or what I say to my friends privately? They would never make that information public because they truly have no reason to. Sure, it sucks that they do that, but is it really that big of a deal?

Because by it's very nature, it's a slippery slope, It works the exact same with banning a particular part of free speech because it is too offensive, soon, another part of free speech will be banned. So what then happens if the NSA decides to overstep its bounds, which it already has(Snowden), when will you be surveilled and harassed for saying something the NSA doesn't like? It truly is only a matter of time until every aspect of your life is monitored if organizations like the NSA are condoned by the populace.
