Activision announced that they will continue to support the Wii U despite it's lack of sales compared to other consoles.

I don't doubt it. That said, it wouldn't be entirely smart to launch a brand new IP on a console that wouldn't keep up with the others due to its fanbase. They wouldn't make enough of a profit off of it, not to mention what I said about the online in my previous statement.
