I drew this for my 2D Design class this past semester. It was an exercise in scale. We had to draw two pictures. One as the observer. Meaning you are standing back and taking in the fill picture. Which is the above example. The second picture was as an intimate participant. Meaning you had to get up close to see the details. For that drawing we had to zoom in on an area of the first picture (above) and draw a more detailed picture of the area. For mine I zoomed in on Vegeta's eye and drew a reflection of Goku in it. You can see that one here

 • Those are both really good and you were very creative with the second part of the assignment! There are only two things I can really say to help out on this. One being that I can see white under the (I assume) color pencil. Coloring in small circles or the side of the pencil will solve that. The strokes can be distracting if they're not filled in all the way. Color in one direction. Also remember that our eyes, while not perfect circles, are very round. The reflection of Goku would be curved around the shape of the eye along with the veins. Maybe if "fish eyed" a bit. Take a look at eyes with reflections in them to get a better understanding.

 • Unfortunately I am heavy handed when drawing, and he had us drawing on a card stock. On normal paper I can blend quite well with color pencil. But with that card stock it just betrayed my pencil strokes.
