Edited by II Smiggles II: 1/8/2014 5:35:15 PMThe drawing itself is really good! But I don't think you're using the facial scaling lines correctly. It appears you've put them on there out of habit or because you see other artists do it but don't quite know how to utilize them. I drew up a quick tutorial to maybe help ya out with that. While doing it your way didn't hurt your drawing, using it correctly can help you in the future with proportions should you ever have trouble

Haha yeah, I just randomly put the lines in there. I always do it like this because I indeed saw other people doing it. It helped me a bit more but like you said I didn't exactly know where to put all the lines. :P Thanks for the tutorial! It's still a bit confusing to me as to where I will have to draw lines in my own drawings. But I will keep trying. :]

Go ahead and place the horizontal line where you want the eyes to be (the line with help the eyes be aligned with each other if you're putting them on cartoons and such that aren't fitting into traditional anatomy) And if the scaling lines become a bother you can ditch them completely. From the other cartoons I've seen you draw (I'm assuming you didn't use them for those) you don't really need them too much. You've got a good understanding of where the eyes and mouth should be placed as it is. No problem man! I'm happy to help. You're doing an amazing job and your art has a very cool style. Keep at it!
