I don't really know... In my opinion 'lorefriendlyness' (is that even a word?) is more important than festival events. I mean it would be kinda weird if the city is full of pumpkins two months after realease. If Bungie keeps it in a scale which isn't too ridiculously unfitting (e.g. presents on the moon at christmas) - why not?
