The first episode aired on Toonami last week and I enjoyed it for the wacky, over-the-top tone for what it was. Lots of fanservice, but I think that is the point. Tonight's second episode was the same, but still fairly enjoyable.
What do you guys think of the series thus far?

It's the most fun I've had watching anime in a while, and provides some pretty nice contrast to what I've been watching lately, being .hack//Sign. Also, it's some of the best animation I've seen. Period. Now if only they could keep the character models together in some of the more fast-paced sequences... But wait, they mentioned Woolongs, which anybody familiar with Shinichiro Wantanabe's work would know is the currency in Cowboy Bepop. Is this a nod, or distant sequel? Also, Fullmetal Ramenist.

Edited by AnonymousF22: 1/12/2014 8:37:37 AMI'm liking Space Dandy . . I like the premise of Dandy finding undiscovered alien races . . And making a living from it . . Sadly it seems that it is kind of rushed (Half Baked) . . A good example I think to describe this is Tenchi Muyo GXP, it to seemed rushed (Half Baked) Sometimes new show's take a few episodes to explain and set things up . . I think overall Space Dandy will turn out to be a solid anime.

I wish they would elaborate on how they survived that explosion in the first episode. And damn it, their was some serious illuminati shit going on in that show. I spotted a pyramid with an all seeing eye multiple times in the show. Made me want to puke. Other than that, hot damn that girl with her tits hanging on screen was hot. Nipples poking through the bikini and everything. I didn't even know that shit was allowed on American tv. Also, I want to see some hot alien girls too. After all, variety is the spice of life.
