So I'm half way through the second season of Fate/Zero.
Jesus Christ this anime, I don't even know where to begin. I have two possible ideas on how it's going to end.
Ending 1: NOBODY WINS THE GRAIL WAR! Why? BECAUSE EVER IMPORTANT CHARACTER WILL -blam!-ING DIE BEFORE THEY REACH EPISODE 26! Seriously, it's like every plot twist in each episode involves an important character dieing, it's ridiculous.
Ending 2: It was all a dream! No one dies! They're all just dreaming at a campfire. The only real suffering is the viewer who just wasted their lives watching 26 episodes of this shit.
It's like I'm not even watching anime! It's like I'm playing a game with myself over guessing which important character will die next episode. And we all know it isn't going to be Saber cause she's the God damn Cover Girl.
Thoughts?

How far are you into it? Who was the last person that died? I'm curious to see exactly where you are so I know what's coming up next for you.
Lancer's death was sad but awesome.
Edited by Arashi Sora: 1/17/2014 6:55:03 AMShould have read Fate/Stay Night first. Or just waited for the forthcoming ufotable adaptation of Fate/Stay Night, THEN watched Fate/Zero. I suspect ufotable's adaptation will be able to wipe away Deen's F/SN from my memory entirely. I really liked Fate/Zero though. It had minimal to no fan service, and it was actually an "adult" anime compared to most of the boob shows that come out each season. F/Z would be something I would show to people that think all anime is all hentai. (those people would probably just want to see the pretty battle scenes anyway.)
The aerial battle between Berserker and Archer was one of my favorite moments of that series.
Watch Fate/Stay Night first then Fate/Zero.

That bad, huh?
-
That was written by Urobutcher, right?
-
a million times better than Fate/Stay Night. it was awesome, i liked how almost everyone
died.
You really should have read the Fate/Stay Night VN first, man. Watching Fate/Zero usually results in disappointment because the ending is rather anticlimactic. As long as you read the VN afterwards it should be okay; just don't be one of the idiots who says Fate/Zero is shit because of the ending when they haven't even read F/SN.

Edited by God: 1/17/2014 5:52:45 AMActually it ends like this:
Kiritsugu realizes the folly of making a perfect world and tries to destroy the grail, but Kirei Kotomine is declared the winner and is granted his wish to see what it was he desired. Apparently it was to see Gilgamesh naked.
-
You should already know how it ends...
Saber going to fight Gilgamesh for the final battle but then being ordered to destroy the grail by Kiritsugu
I mean, it is a prequel, after all. You should know Ani becomes Darth Vader before you see Revenge of the Sith...
