Many people compare Pacific Rim and EVA but I see very little similarities.

Oh their completely different. Just the half juaga / kagi thing. My friend pointed out their difference to me a long time ago, like their sizes, since the Eva would only come up to the juaga's knee

Sharing one idea or concept doesn't mean they're copying. Even two or three similar ideas isn't mimicking. I think if everyone kept EVA and Pacific Rim separate in terms of comparing them to each other they'd be able to enjoy PR a lot more. In my experience, many are maliciously looking for ways to call PR a rip off. I love both myself and think they were fantastically presented and are dramatically different. Each with their own neat ideas.
