hit an ice patch after a jump on my last heat today in a race, slid off the path and into the brush, luckily only some bodywork was dented and no one was hurt, I also got the winning time the heat before... so, my question to you flood is have you ever crashed your car, and was it your fault?

I guess you can say that the Speed Boost didn't work out too well today.

I once took an exit ramp backwards unintentionally due to some ice, and I layed a bike down on a freshly tar and chipped road. That's about it.

I've never crashed my own car considering I don't drive, but I've been in several accidents during my childhood. Two involving other vehicles, one as the only car involved, and another one if you count being struck by lightning as a crash.

Imma also share the craziest story that happened to me was my mum's brand new 2000 windstar which she bought 4 days before getting hit twice by the exact same buck, the buck hit her in the front passenger first, it then flew across the road, where it met another car going the opposite way, it then proceeded to hit the rear passenger on the opposite side of the Van and then the buck skidded off into the ditch on the side of the road.

I haven't crashed my car yet (thank goodness), but I came pretty close to clipping someone on a roundabout when they decided to indicate and turn off in front of me at the very last second. My heart was racing for the next few minutes or so, I can't imagine how bad I would've felt if I'd hit them.

Sounds like you are a racer. What's that like?

Never crashed my car, but I have been involved in indicents and/or been witness to them. The most interesting was when my dad was driving myself, my brother and my step mother in his Maserati. It was raining heavily, and we were on the motorway doing about 65-70mph. Not speeding, but not exactly safe considering the rate at which it was raining. My dad moved to overtake someone ahead of us, and, while switching to the outside lane, hit a body of water. The car quickly stepped out, and my dad corrected, but as soon as we were going straight again, the rear end stepped out once more as the wheels lost traction. We spun a full 540 degrees across two lanes of traffic, ending up facing the wrong way in the inside lane, facing oncoming traffic. Luckily we were still moving backwards at around 30mph, so with some quick thinking, my dad gave it full lock and swung us into the hard shoulder a few seconds before several HGVs flew past. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a true story. I was the only one to speak during the ordeal, and all I said was "Oh... shit." Luck was on our side though, as no-one was hurt and the car was undamaged.

I don't drive, so I don't really have a car. However, I have been in a bus accident.
