That feel when the next couple of years of your life are about to be decided
I just called the guy I'm looking to work for and he told me he'd call back in a couple of minutes.
If I get the job, I'll be staying at home and working for the year.
If I don't, I'll be heading off to Uni in a city about 2 or so hours north. I'll still be able to come home for weekends and the like, but it'll be very different.
So yeah. My future is just about to be decided.
EDIT:
Derp, no it isn't. He still hasn't interviewed the other candidates, so I won't know until later.
How are your future plans shaping up?
For people still in school, do you know what you want to do?

6 RepliesWell, the recruiter finally got back to me with the employment paperwork, which I'm currently filling out. So, I have my career being decided soon.

I still have this semester and my Senior year of high school before I truly have to decide what to do with the next few years of my life, but I'm pretty certain I'll be going to college and working towards an Engineering degree.

1 ReplyWhat's the job? I'm trying to get this technician job for ATT and all I can do is apply to locations near my town and wait for a call (I already did the test and drug screen.) If I get this, I will be making good money and have all kinds of benefits. I'll be set. But I still want to see if I can go to school for something interesting that I love like film making. One of the benefits with this job is getting my schooling paid for but it would have to be night school, which would suck ass. Also, dat university frat life-style has always interested me.
