I'm not suggesting the difficulty be toned down. Rather, in addition to the grueling default, there be an easy mode? Win win for everyone or will it cheapen the franchise? I ask because I'm really enjoying the atmosphere and mechanics in Dark Souls. However the investment this game is asking is just too much for me to finish.
