Left my car in a parking lot, got to my car and started it and had a fancy exhaust note. Look at my stock exhaust in disbelief, get home and look under the car and catalytic converter is missing. So annoying to drive, don't know how those ricers do it.
For reference I drive a 1997 Toyota Previa in California. And I have to specify state because apparently California has strict emission laws so 2 parts are made: one for 49 states, and one for CA specific.
Thats all

If you can help in anyway that'd be great, but I don't expect you guys too at all.

Catalytic converters typically contain about 1.5g of Platinum (Pt), 0.5g of Palladium (Pd), and 0.1g of Rhodium (Rd). The platinum alone is worth about $70, the palladium another $15 or so, and the Rhodium is insignificant, but would come out to be about a dollar or so. Recyclers pay about $50 a converter, so the yield for stealing one isn't that bad. As for advice, I found this for you: http://www.sacrt.com/documents/catalytic.pdf
