I've made it to the final boss on one character, but that character is having difficulty beating him and I really hate how that character ended up soooooo... I restarted and now I'm on the bonfire of Sen's Fortress, going for a Faith / Dexterity straight sword build.

Edited by Madame Corbeau: 1/30/2014 12:43:40 AMJust a bit of friendly advice: Straight swords are best used on quality builds, unless you're enchanting them. But even then you'd be better off using a dex weapon like a falchion that has higher dex scaling. But really it's however you want to do it. That's just some advice for max damage output.

Yeah I've realized that, I'm currently using the Astora Side Sword and I'll swap over to the Silver Knight Sword when I get to Anor Londo and I'll use that until my Balder Side Sword starts outscaling the damage that the Silver Knight Sword can do.

The Silver Knight Sword is one of my favorite weapons in the game, I just wish it had better damage scaling.

Beat him on my first try. I put on full Havel, used my Dragon Battleaxe +5, and wailed away. It was glorious, and I crushed him. Strategy can suck my left nut. /all praise my level 216 character.
