Currently they have a Trade deal going on as follows:
http://www.gamestop.com/trade2
Trade any two eligible games in when purchasing a new game, and the new game will only cost 10$ plus tax after trading them in. So I could right now purchase two such games, Animal Crossing City Folk, and Kingdom Hearts Remix 1.5 HD since they seem to be two of the cheapest titles there that I'm willing to trade in, purchase say a new Xbox One or PS4 title, and only get it for 10$ after the promotion. Saving me at least 10$, and even more depending on how cheap you find the eligible games.
Example:
I want to buy Lightning Returns soon, so it will be a new game that is eligible for the deal. It will usually end up being 65$ for me after taxes. City Folk could be bought for 19.60$, and Kingdom Hearts for about 24.96$, those prices include the shipping and full price. Which gives us 44.56$ altogether. Now we buy those games for a little cheaper through Amazon or otherwise, trade them into Game Stop, and get the new game for only 9.99$ plus tax. That saves me in this case, about 11$ since my tax rates will be different than most others.
This method may seem arbitrary and complicated, but depending on how cheap you can find the games listed, this can easily save you money by just shopping around and purchasing them elsewhere since we know the regular trade-in rates are garbage. I encourage everyone to use this to their utmost, since it can work for any new game, Xbox One and PS4 titles, and otherwise, but I would of course only use it for console titles, handhelds and the Wii and such would make you over-pay since those are cheaper, but for anything else, this can save you money.
