PvE (aka "Co-Op/Story") or PvP (aka "Competitive")?

1 Replyas much as I like PVP... its really repetative, it is mostly by virtue of its nature the same thing over and over and over again unending. Story provides an emotional experience, iconic experiences, information on the story and universe.... I will always prefer story over multiplayer, but that does not mean I hate multiplayer... not by any means... In the end, I have to look at the games that tried "only" using multiplayer in the past, such as brink and shadowrun... visually interesting.... but ultimately unfulfilling. I will chose story... because I want to know the glory of the universe that bungie has created, not loiter in its backyard.

pve, what ruins gta online a game that destiny sounds like it closely resembles is the mandatory pvp honestly if you go into a store buy some candy , you come out and you get hit in the face by an rpg in that game imagine that happening in destiny

I really don't care that much about multiplayer in this game right now. I really have a blast playing against AI with friends. I'll test the hell out of the multiplayer during the beta but raids, strikes and the story are really what I'm about.

The PvP will likely start to take over after I've experienced a good chunk of the game though. Besides, few things will be more fun than walking into a competitive match with some hardcore exotic gear from later sections of the game before most other players make it that far, and having all the players who are just playing PvP from the start drop their jaws and ask me how my Guardian got so damn cool.

Also Ill go more on PVE like Raids there fun and hard as -blam!- lol but Ill be playing PVP too. Will then I'm looking for to Destiny is Raids if I can only play one mode then it will be PVE.

1 ReplyI'm probably going to be spending more time in the competitive scene because I find I like the challenge of real players more than the challenge of AIs. Of course I'm sure I'm going to be making tons of stories while out adventuring with my friends I just see my self playing competitive more.
