As some, maybe a few, of you may know, I had a reconstruction of my ear when I was very little and had over 12+ surgeries getting the ear canal done, given cartilage and everything. Through all that, I can barely hear through this ear and I have to ask people what they said since they ask on the side I can barely hear from. Luckily, I am getting a hearing aid implanted in my skull so I can hear, but that won't be until later this year..
Would employers not want to hire me because of this?
Would employers not want to hire me because of this?
They'd only find out if you told them... or interviewed with that ear facing them. As long as you aren't going for a job that absolutely requires it, then there's no reason to tell them.
