Play as a Pyromancer, pretty much everything wilts underneath those flames.

This is true, and fire is most affective early game. It's not bad late game, but lightning tends to affect more enemies later on. Not to mention Lightning Zweihander is one of the best things since electricity
ZAP
I ran through the game pretty easy with my pyromancer. Havel's armor against the four kings and fire makes that fight a joke for the most part. With the right strat you only need like 10% skill as a pyromancer.

That's also why I'm swingin with some pyromancy as a paladin. I just need to join Chaos Servant and get the really good Pyromancy stuff. Then I can set the world on fire!

I have all the pyromancies, and while those are good, they take up too many slots to be worth it once you have multiples of everything. 32 combustions can be devastating.

What do you think of the Lightning Pike? Should I electrify it, make it a +15, or scrap it for something else?

Compared to the other long weapons, I'm not sure. I've only played as a swordsman. What I found about it depends on what kind of character you're making. If you're putting a lot of points into dex, it gets high scaling with that around 15+ at a B grade (out of S). That being said, if you want to go immediate damage, the lightning pike is the best option I've seen for it (gets up to 250 damage in both physical and lightning). I don't know how powerful it would be with the dex scaling at around 40 (when stat returns diminish), but coupled with the lightning, I imagine it would be devastating. That's all assuming this is the right pole arm for the job.
