For anyone wondering how the game plays at peak hours. (This is all Photoshop, of course.)

Edited by Mccluvinn: 2/8/2014 5:28:17 PMEveryone's problem is they keep comparing it to skyrim or Oblivion when they need to be comparing it to other MMOs. I've played it and its a pretty good MMO with TES lore behind it, a nice combination.
-
Now I'm not saying I've played the Beta, but what I will say is that 21GBs of Download is an awful lot of data for something that could be called the Potato Scrolls 6: The Runescapenining. *NDA Bullshit* I would hypothesise that the NDA is to keep people from spreading the word that the game is garbage. Not that I'm doing that, or that I've played the game. This is all purely speculation. *rolls eyes* ERROR UI FAILED TO MATERIALISE: ENJOY THIS HUGE TEXT BOX IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR SCREEN UNTIL YOU QUIT IN DISGUST. Give me TES 6 in 2016 and Fallout 4 in 2014/15 and I shall be a happy customer, otherwise TESO can fornicate itself with an iron rod.

WoW with a TES skin. Nothing special Broken lore. Money grabbing with the Imperial Edition. £10 a month isn't worth it for a WoW reskin.
-
Edited by Big Brit: 2/9/2014 5:23:40 AMIt's REALLY bad. As an MMO player, and a TES fan it -blam!-ed both of them. Just everything about it is so wrong -.-
-
They took a huge shit on the lore, turned it into a money-grabbing WoW re-skin and branded it as a TES game. It's clearly a disgrace.
-
I've played the beta. It's pretty cool at first, but once you realize that it takes an hour to get enough materials to craft the most basic pieces of armor it begins to feel like a typical MMO. (This is all speculation, of course. *looks at NDA*)
-
I'm in the beta. All I can say is it's not worth getting if you're a fan of TES. It is worth getting if you're a MMO fan. It is somewhat worth getting if you are a hardcore TES fan and only care about story.
-
I just played some of the beta, and I enjoy it quite a bit. It isn't perfect, and I don't think you can go to Vvardenfel which was one of the big things for me, but from what I have played and see, I actually really like it. It really does feel like an elder scrolls game, which I found to be unexpected. Obviously it plays like an MMO, but it doesn't always feel like one, and a lot of times, I just feel like I'm playing Skyrim. I will be playing more of it.
-
Nothing special, skipping. Waiting for Elder Scrolls VI and will play my modded pc Skyrim in the meantime.
-
Very basic if I were to summaries it.
-
It looks okay, but it feels like its a standard mmo. I wouldn't pay for it when Guild Wars 2 sounds more interesting/better.
-
The beta is taking forever to download
-
I might try it out when it goes free to play...IM not paying 15 a month to play a game
-
I've played the beta. Honestly it was nothing special. Just felt like any other mmo. I love the elderscrolls series but a mmo went to far. The story wasn't engaging and you grind like all mmos
-
I am just going to keep playing WoW. Much more fun then ESO will be, I am sure of that.
-
None of the above. It looks fine, but I won't be playing it because it's not worth the money. That doesn't mean it's a 'disgrace.' I wouldn't pay that much for Skyrim or Oblivion, either.
-
I wouldn't say it's a disgrace, but the fact that it takes a dump on the lore, is essentially WoW in a TES skin, and the money grabbing they're doing with the Imperial edition turns me off from it. Also the whole pre-order to play any race in any alliance thing completely kills what they were trying to do with the game.
-
The game may or may not play like a slightly clunkier version of Skyrim but due to NDA I can't say for certain. EVERYONE SAYING IT'S A WOW CLONE HAS OBVIOUSLY NEVER EVEN PLAYED WOW BEFORE. THEY PLAY NOTHING ALIKE, I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.
-
It's a -blam!-ing disgrace.
