Random question I don't want to make a new thread for.
I know that the Black Knight Sword is enough to get through the rest of my first playthrough, but I was wondering, will the Greatsword of Artorias eventually eclipse it? I heard that as long as you're not fighting a magic-resistant enemy the Greatsword of Artorias has incredibly high damage.

Greatsword of Artorias does split damage, and as such, it goes through 2 resistances, making it weaker. Just stick with the claymore. Great weapon. Good damage and a good moveset.

It will only with if you feel like put 40 in all scaling stats. If you plan on just keeping 40 str and 18 dex (You should) the BKS is better.

It does but it is slow. Use the gargoyles halberd or the claymore to get you through
