Ways to Feel Better and Live Healthier

1. Cut out Junk Food and Eat Wiser
With our lifestyles and the convenience of junk food it's a lot easier to rip open a bag of doritos than cook an entire meal. These types of food, however, can cause you to be depressed. Anxious. Angry. If your body isn't supplied the nutrition it requires it rebels hard. Instead of grabbing burger, pick up a package of chicken breasts. Grab some veggies. Go home and prepare, even if just for yourself, a meal. The activity of cooking and the accomplishment of creating a tasty dish can help you feel better.
2. Pick up an Exercise Routine
You don't have to lift hard core or go to the gym every day. Simply allotting a set time on days of the week that work for you to run, practice yoga, go hiking, take a walk around the city, gives your body the steps towards fitness it needs. Getting active does incredible things to the body and mind.
3. Turn off the games. Turn off the computer. Put the Phone down.
Today we find ourselves in this constant trap of checking notifications, looking up the latest youtube video, or playing that DLC that just came out. While playing games or using social media is fun, doing so all day causes stress on your mind. Allow yourself only a set amount of time each day to use these things and the rest of the time towards activities you've otherwise put off. That thing that's been sitting there that you said you would finish a month ago? Go finish it. Stop stressing about what your friends on xbox are doing, or who just liked your status, or what's on sale on steam. It's not important.
4. Drink Water
I can't even stress this enough. Drink a ton of water. No more soda unless for a treat. No more energy drinks. More water.
5. Make Goals and Meet Them
If you don't currently have this habit, start small. Make goals you know you can accomplish and seek out to do so. Meeting goals that you make establishes a sense of power, confidence, and control in your life. We are often faced with the delusion of uselessness, which can latch on to the point where you don't want it to let go. You're happier doing nothing and being nothing. However, once you begin to realize that you're capable of small achievements, the larger ones will seem less daunting and more doable.
(Headed to work will add more later) I hope that in some way this helps for anyone who is in the dumps.

I agree with everything except for electronics. Since I have no soul this phone is the closest thing to it. But I am no means addicted. I get on b.net and check the news but that's it. And I only game for 1-1.5 hours a day
