So, if you participated in the Beta, what did you think?

Me? I made an account to be a Redguard, with the intention of really going all out on the swordplay. But I ended up playing a lot of time on my friend's Orc account, wielding a large and heavy warhammer!
I also did not enjoy the game, it was boring and bland.
-
One hell of a necrobump. I enjoyed the beta and the game though.
-
I think it's unprofessional how long its taking to dumb it down for consoles. And that pay to play was a really really bad idea because it probably turned away all curious people.
-
"We would like coop Elder Scrolls!" "What's that? You want an MMO?" "N-no... We just want-" "MMO it is! It may not have anything that makes an Elder Scrolls game fun, but now you can play together! Woohoo!"
-
Does anyone even play that anymore??

Edited by The Son of Suns: 7/10/2014 10:28:34 PMI was in the beta awhile back. On the last day everyone decided to run to the nearest temple and have an orgy. Some layed on the ground naked while others stood over them and did the /pushup animation. Twas a cringeworthy newfangled faggotry fuckfest. Wouldn't be surprised if some of them were floodians judging by behavior.
-
If only they added multiplayer to skyrim.... No.. Not this game
-
Sort of like world of Warcraft
-
Blech.
-
If you're a die hard fan than like many you'll find yourself insulted. On the flip-side however, you could be blind to the alternatives and ravage the plains of Tamriel in a manner similar to a mouse chases week old cheese with a blindfold.

Elder scrolls was never meant to be an mmo, what's the point? It spoils an rpg story when there are people running around saving the world too, and it destroys the reality of the world when you have to break it down to the mechanics like tank, healer, dps and just fight things. That's not what elder scrolls is about, you pretend to be a hero and there's an intricate story and you can kill the npcs and steal everything, it was obvious it wouldn't work as an mmo but all these big companies like want WoW
-
I wouldn't play that shit even if there was no subscription fee. I hope it fails so that they never attempt an MMO again.
-
My opinion? It's a pretty simplistic and blunt one. No.
-
I haven't played the beta but I will tell you this, any subscription based game will and does fail, whatever idiot decided to charge 15$ a month for what seems to be a sub par MMO made a huge mistake.... Subscription games only worked when nobody knew what free to play was and there were no free to play options lol..
-
No surprise that the game that requires subscription fees is the one that everyone thinks is boring.
-
Played Oblivion and Skyrim too much to have any interest in it. I could play the exact same game and love it, if it was reskinned in a more modern theme.

Edited by Archon: 10/24/2014 2:16:12 PMI played the beta and had no fun Enemies only drop 0-2 gold and that's it Being a thief is pointless It doesn't feel like elder scrolls just a shitty imitation Quests want you too travel half way across the world only too fight high levelled enemies in a lv 2 quest Quest rewards are practically nonexistent I played for 10 hrs and was running around looking like jesus because the price for gear is too damn high! mmo's suck
-
I think it boring and really shitty.
-
I was locked in my cell for three days... I went insane, beat my cellmate to death with a log, saw a ghost, ate a rat, and jumped a lot. 10/10 Would play again.
-
I literally just want Oblivion or Skyrim with co-op features implemented. I could care less about ESO.
-
Ive been in a group well before the release of the game. I like the game for I tried it at a Con. I'm getting it on consoles though.
-
Join shadowscale its a destiny guild that is going to be playing eso as well when it comes out we do strikes and raid every week http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/545026

Edited by Molag Bal: 10/24/2014 4:52:05 AMIt's gonna flop Worse than Destiny
-
I was not accepted into the beta...
it was for the xbone
-
I would give it a chance if it didn't have a subscription fee. It doesn't even look like it's worth it.
-
It's going to be a huge debt creating hole for Zenimax.

ITT: "I don't wanna have to spend 15 bucks a month so I'll play the beta for 5 minutes and convince myself it sucks."
