Star Wars actually has their own 'flood'. It's called the Rakghoul plague.

Assuming the Rakghoul plague is anywhere even close to the level of complexity, intelligence, virility and lethality of the Flood. Flood would murder stomp the Rhakgoul. Let's not forget that a cure or at least vaccine exists against the Rakghoul. The Flood has none.
