Same here, but I still found it pretty easy. The only times I died was to the Handyman before you fight her and 3 times at the end.
Did you have the DLC packs?

I only have burial at sea ep 1 and going to get ep2

No, I mean the DLC where you get buffed weapons and a lot of infusions early in the game.
