Chevrolet developed a new traction control mode for the new Z/28

"Flying car mode" It's another setting in the already in depth performance traction management system. If you're taking your Z/28 to a track with plenty of crests, turn on this mode to keep the traction control from cutting in when you crest a hill, or fly over it ;) It works by working with the ride height sensors, when the car sees that it is leaving the ground it temporarily disengages the traction control until you hit the ground so it doesn't cut in and cost you time when you hit the ground.

  • Traction control just limits power to the throttle, it's stupid as -blam!- and is a pain in the ass when you are stuck in snow. And now ford has it to where there is no longer a button to push to turn it off, nooo you have to scroll through a shitload of menu items to get to it.
