You would want a pulse rifle then. I think that they are the rifles that shoot in three-round bursts, such as the Viper P3, but they may have atomatic capabilities. They definitely are the rifles that shoot "elemental" rounds, like plasma rounds or lightning rounds, though.

Or you would want a fusion rifle which is confirmed burst fire, and has semi-"elemental" rounds.
