Gas explosion cause two buildings to collapse in New York. 6 have been killed

Will there be a lawsuit?
How powerful are gas explosions?
Do gas explosions usually cause buildings to collapse?
Are buildings in New York made to collapse?

I don't think anyone in particular is at fault here. Con Edison responded almost immediately, from my understanding. The accident is an absolute tragedy. But, some accountability needs to be taken here. And, all fingers will point at the owners of the building, I can guarantee you that. An explosion is an explosion. Go see the videos of the eye witness accounts. They'll explain it well enough. Building integrity is a big factor here. Which, again, is on the owner of the buildings. So, let's see how it goes.
