Yeah same here kinda. Tutorials never really seem to be the perfect way to do it. I always find my own methods better. Then I can remember it better. I still look up things if I have no idea how to draw it. In my mind I can picture it clearly, but drawing it? My brain goes nope then. But then I just look it up on Google and draw that object a few times whilst looking at an image. I did it yesterday for a fedora type hat.
