So it looks like I may be starting a quality control job here in a couple weeks if everything works out.
My original plans were to save up for a ZL1 over the course of a couple years, but I may be having second thoughts. So, I'm going to pitch this plan here and just see what you guys think.
I am thinking about saving for about a year and just outright buying a last gen GTO for a new DD/winter beater, keep my sentra for now, and save up another year or two to finance a slightly used 1LE while putting my GTO on permanent DD status.
I'm well aware of the GTO wheel hop/some strut issues, but that's an easy inexpensive fix. Since this would primarily be on DD duty, I wouldn't add too much power, and honestly the most I'd do to it would maybe just be headers/exhaust.
Then once I get my hands on a 1LE I turn that into my weekend cruiser/autox/track day toy. Thoughts?

Get the car you want more. If you really want a Zl1 then save the money and get one. Just my two cents.
