I need three main abilities... Movement, support, and crowd control. Add my favorite weapons... Grenadier type area effect weapons. A blink/teleport type of diverse movement to vanish and appear in another location.. Now you see me... Now you don't... But a good teleport will not only jump from cover to cover but in multiple directions. If I run forward then I teleport forward.. But if I am running in an angle (forward+strafe) then I teleport in an angle also apply to 8 directions (front, back, sides and angles). Add looking direction for vertical movement. Looking toward the floor and moving back will teleport you behind you but up in the air. Leaving an after image is a bonus. For support I rather have a dual effect type of axion bolt (3 mini nova bombs each on different cooldowns) where it damage enemies but heals allies with in the radius or a shotgun wide spread cone area effect heal + damage w/ knockback. As far as crowd control I like area effect that stuns or morph like turning someone into a "raving rabbid" that will aimlessly panic and fall over... Lol Movement is key for support especially for combat healers. Either to escape or to get to your ally. But a dual area effect like 3 mini nova bombs that can deal damage or heal allies is what makes combat healers great contribute to any team, especially heal/damage over time. Anyone will tell you crowd control is a must have for support. We don't just kill things we control the flow of combat. As far as heals/damage over time. The instant with diminishing effect (200, 100, 50, 25 tick) where it instantly hits for a larger amount then weakens or the consistent but longer lasting type bleed. Both have its purpose. Combat healers with out a direct heal would want a instant w/ diminishing effects for heal over time, while offense use the consistent damage over time is better.
