'Your' is to show possession. That is [i]your[/i] ugly step cousin.
Get [i]your[/i] own participation ribbon, I worked hard for this.
[i]Your[/i] phone sucks.
You're is short for 'you are'. [i] You're [/i] pretty cool.
I think [i] you're [/i] doing it wrong.
When [i] you're [/i] at Dan's house, tell him his cooking is really bad.
Tip: If you are having a hard time distinguishing what one to use, just replace it with 'my'. If you still aren't sure, try replacing it with 'you are'. It's all downhill from there.
