It's been a while since i've been to bungie.net, and it got me thinking about the good old days, back in the glory days of Halo 3, the release of Halo: Reach etc.
So what were your favourite moments on bungie.net? For me, i'd have to go with the Bungie All Stars contests. While it was not that long ago, the community was active, and a lot of great content was created. Let's get some nostalgia flowing.

The old site.

Edited by DE4THINC4RN4TE: 3/23/2014 6:30:41 AMThe All-Star Contests were certainly fun! I won in week 20, only to have the exclusivity ripped away a week or so later. (Them feels.) I'd have to say The Darkness of all times. It had a lot of cons, but you just can't get back to that level of personal communication. Everyone knew everyone. Sure, their were ups and downs, but in the end the community was tightly knit. I also enjoyed many of the Community Carnages I've run, and Bungie Day is always a blast. I'm not a noob here, but I'm definitely no elder. I've had so many experiences here in just a few short years. I can't imagine all the stuff some of the decade+ users can look back on.

The way the community would get behind causes such as the Sandtrap Easter Egg or the quest for SLASO.

In 2004, preHalo 2, and on through 2006, it was all about the growth of the 7th Column. New chapters errwhere and lots of em growing to hundreds and even thousands of members. Super fun debating about the Halo 2 plot in the pubs as well.

The ilovebees.com speculation was fun. God, I probably stayed up until 3 or 4am on these forums trying to put the pieces together.

Edit: Also, most of the April Fool's Day jokes that have been pulled over the past few years have been fun.

I remember the old days when people feared Shishka and his Schadenfreude.

The puzzle maps. Spending literally hours on hours trying to get through them and never getting that far.

Everything prior to B.next

I had a lot of good times in the Gallery, but my favourite moments are a bit harder to really decide upon. I guess they would be all the times where I made friends on here.

This should be in da floof

I've been on this site for only a (relatively) short time, so I don't have as many fond memories as much older members. I remember the 20th-anniversary Bungie Day, though, and I especially remember finally being able to buy a Bag O' Swag after being too slow to get one for like a week :D
