Of the many burdens the White Man must bear, the fact that he wasn't privileged enough to have had such a beautiful history as the Black Man is one of them. While we must stand up against the horrors of some kind of perpetual victim complex, we should also try to remind the poor White Man that context actually does matter, and that Blackface has received most of its praise for being related to a certain lifestyle choice that only Blacks were privileged enough to enjoy. We can take some comfort - though it isn't nearly enough to counteract the searing pain of The Dreaded Double Standard - in knowing that at least there are a few less Whites in prison than Blacks and a few more on private jets. Unfortunately, this is not due to the kind of privilege that Blacks enjoy, but instead because of the extreme amounts of hard work and dedication that our underrated race puts in; after all, we live in a society that provides full equality of opportunity to all people and their only barrier to living a successful life is just not trying hard enough. That said, Cannon is an idiot and what he did was distasteful. And terrifying. He looks kind of like Andy Samberg.
