[url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post?id=64202304]War of the Forums (Chapter I Part I)[/url] ----- [b]Chapter I: Invasion of Paradiso IV[/b] ([i]Part II[/i]) “Vien, leviathans on your six!” TehHaloz yelled as he punched a waifu through a car. Vien spun on his heel and made to speed-blitz the enemy. He did so successfully, break the necks of each of the spider-like creatures. He watched as a huge, mutilated looking creature landed in front of him. It had a singular huge arm, a tentacle face, and a body that rippled with muscle like skin. It charged plowing through a car. “Pure form!” With that, the creature was riddled with burning holes as Gasai made short work of it. “Damn, pure forms?” Vien nodded as he smashed a waifu into dirt. “This is ridiculous, where is our pick up?” Then an unspeakable event occurred. Vien turned to speak to TehHaloz when a blade suddenly erupted from the soldier’s chest. Then, a second blade appeared behind and slashed. TehHaloz head flew off of his body. The being then threw TehHaloz body off to the side, grinning. “I am the Decapitator! You shall fall under my blades!” It roared, scrapping its bladed arms together. The creature charged, shoulder-checking Vien into a wall. Gasai launched himself at the being called Decapitator, punching him into the asphalt and then kicking him into a hardware store. Gasai lunged in there, grabbing an aisle and swatting the being Decapitator through another wall, into a clothing store. Vien hefted up a hover car and tossed it into the clothing store. But, Decapitator had launched himself out, slicing through the car with his blade-like hands. Vien dodged the creature and grabbed a light pole. He turned and swung the pole at the creature, which slashed at the metal pole, his blade slicing through it. “My blades are composed of eternal metal!” He lunged at Vien, only to be crushed by the pole being brought down on his head. The creature jumped back up, his large blades splitting into bladed fingers, and yanked the pole from Vien’s steel claws. He roared, but was cut short of its actions after being hit by a railcar full of fuel. The resulting explosion destroyed the city block and heavily damaged any of the surrounding ones. Despite the heavy damaged the explosion caused, it only scratched the armor of Vien and Gasai and pissed the Decapitator being. He screeched, his eyes glowing red with flame. To their horror, red lasers beam emitted from the creatures eyes, slicing through any debris between him and the duo. Gasai was hit first, sending him flying into another city block. Vien activated his golden energy sword, turning to the being. Decapitator was already charging, his irises glowing orange with rage. He collided with Vien, smacking him through the foundation of a skyscraper before the sangheili had caught himself, digging into the concrete and asphalt of a street with his fingers. He growled looking up as Decapitator lunged through the cloud of debris. Vien uppercut the beast, launching him into the up along the outside of the skyscraper they were near. Vien wasted no time to jump onto the wall and run up the skyscraper with his hands and feet, ripping out glass and other kinds of building material. The elite made a final push, his fist drawn and ready to connect with Decapitator. Decapitator twisted and caught Quitomn’s fist with his own. This resulted in a shockwave that caved the skyscraper inwards and sent both combatants flying off in different directions. Vien smashed through another building and then smashed into another street, bouncing down it. What stopped him was a tank. He opened his eyes to meet the face of Gasai, who was repairing his armor. “We’ve got a ride, thanks to Ingloriouswho98. He managed to clear the atmosphere of enemy fighters, so we’ve got a small window.” “You will not escape!” Roared Decapitator, who landed on top of a tank. “Yo-” He was hit with rather large, and rapid, missile. It managed to carry him into a skyscraper and explode. “He shouldn’t be a problem right n-” “He best be dead! If I find that he is not dead, I will make sure that his death will come!” Vien roared with rage. “Get yourself together!” That’s when the dropship hovered over them and teleported them aboard. Ingloriouswho98, a tall man with scars of war, appeared before them. He held a grim expression upon his face. “Paradiso IV is lost.” The duo looked at the footage presented before them. Smoke wrapped the world, land was being upturned. Mountain ranges were spitting pillars of fire. Great splotches of color briefly pockmarked the surface, hinting use of energy weaponry. Red veins stretched the surface, mingling with orange. It was the same color as the biomass that befell the city. ----- Pt 2! Don't worry, Decapitator isn't dead >:) yet. Anywho, recruiting!
