Basically, while gay marriage is still banned in Ohio, they must recognize it if the gay marriage was performed out of state. In essence: Ohio will have to abide by the Constitution's Full Faith and Credit Clause now. Progress is slow, but will surely happen.
This is also a case between majority/mob rule vs. federal, which could open discussion to the Supremacy Clause, if we were to head in that direction. For me, I see people talking about the Constitution all the time (Especially in this forum), and this time, it is a giant debate between state rights vs. federal rights along with civil rights tied into it. I personally believe that with things like this, America is catching up to other first world countries in equality and happiness.
Opinions on this? And this time, I'm just here to read opinions rather than comment.
