Jarvan and Jayce were still staring at what was in the distance, Zic had already started walking towards the wreckage of the rest of their squads cruiser. Jarvan collapsed to the ground and Jayce tried to get him to walk over. Once Jayce figured out there was no way he could calm him he walked over to Zic. He was looking over the wreckage, scanning for survivors, but looked at Jayce and said in a cold metallic voice "I am sorry, I detect no life forms in the ship." Jayce felt depressed, suprised, but he had a bit of hope. He was suprised at Zic talking, and he thought that maybe some of his squad members HAD survived but had wandered away from the ship in search of medical help. The chances where slim seeming as how the ship was almost completely buried in sand, indicating that either the ship was very high up at the time or going very fast, possibly even both. But either way, whatever took the ship down probably wasn't a soft pillow. The marks on the ship were mysterious looking, they were deep scratches. "What kind of a missile or rocket makes those marks?" Jayce asked Zic but he came up with nothing, and began to search the ship again. He found something but Jayce couldn't see what Zic was doing so he walked back over to Jarvan, he was calmer now, just staring at the wreckage from were they had landed with the parachutes. "You okay now?" Jayce asked. " No... No I'm not okay, our squad is dead, there is no way off of this piece of shit planet, and IM -blam!-ING EXHAUSTED!" Jayce just stayed silent, he was the older brother and felt that it was his job to protect Jarvan, but with him always complaining and being scared of everything, he was starting to lose that feeling. He walked back over to the ship, this time with Jarvan. Once they got there Zic emerged from the ship with two good arms, he had found an Exo and took the arm from it. He handed the Thorn back to Jayce and slung his LMG off of his back. Once Jayce scavenged some water and food rations from the supply of the ship, the Lonesome Three began walking East, because that was the direction the ship was pointing towards. After about a day of walking and two nights of sleep (Jayce and Jarvan were relieved) they came to a sight of yet another city. They had all stayed quite the past day and Jayce broke the silence with "C'mon guys, we gotta reach that city, wether it's filled with Vex or not." Jarvan still stayed silent... Although Zic nodded in agreement. Once they reached the city, they didn't go straight for a building to hide and take cover in like they usually did. Instead they went straight to were the shots and explosions were coming from. They figured that was were people or Vex were, and that means water. They decided to Walt up a highway ramp and watch the battle from up there. The fighting was a Warlock in an all blue cloak with a hood, he was holding Red Death and he was with one of the their squad members, also a Warlock. The two of them were good together but the mysterious one in blue was doing most of the work, he was skilled and also their squad member was injured. The Fire team jumped down to help and together they demolished what was left of the Vex. "Although we could've handled it ourselves, thank you" It was the Warlock in blue, he was an Awoken and his white eyes glowed through the darkness of his hood. "My name is Baron, I have food and shelter, and this man needs help." Zic nodded and Jayce and Jarvan picked up Janna, their squad member, and Baron lead them to the only stable looking building in the whole city. It didn't look like much, the siding had all been either blown or burnt off and most of the windows were smashed, but once they got inside it was a whole different theme. Baron had all of the best equipment, not weapons but computers, trackers, and even two shrikes. "Do not touch anything... I'll be right back, I'm going to the med bay." Zic walked right up to the computers and started examining. He had never seen technology this updated, he was switched off before the Golden Age, and he was turned back on by Jayce when they had found him on the Moon 2 months ago. Ever since then they have been a fire team. Baron returned with a weird container filled with a pink liquid. Janna was pale, she looked like she had been punched in the face by five cabal, her whole body was bruised and cut. She was looking pale but once Baron applied the liquid to her cuts, they immediately started closing. "She needs rest, I'll show you two around, it seems that your Exo is lost in my tech lab." The first place Baron showed Jayce and Jarvan was the library, it was there when Baron arrived, it was filled with books from the golden days. Baron spent most of his time there just imagining what it must have been like to be at peace, no wars. The next room was the med bay, as soon as they entered the room both Jayce and Jarvan we're hit with a blackjack and knocked out. When they woke up they were tied to chairs on opposite ends of a room, in the middle of the room was Zic, he was just standing there his eyes were not glowing. Someone was standing behind him and cutting and pulling wires on the back of his neck. Once it seemed that the man was finished he put what looked like a beetle on Zic and walked away. A few minutes later Zic's eyes lit up and he picked his head up then looked around. His eyes were blue instead of red, he said "Who are you two, what are you doing here?" He spoke to Jayce and Jarvan, who were confused. "You must leave, now." Obviously Jayce and Jarvan didn't move, partly because they were strapped to chairs, and they weren't entirely sure what was going on. When Zic realized they weren't going anywhere he picked up his gun sitting on the ground beside him and aimed it at Jayce. "Woah man, what the hell are you doing?" Jarvan asked. Zic turned around and pointed at him instead. "Zic cut us loose, we need to get outta here" That was Jayce, it seemed Zic had had enough so he fired one bullet into Jarvan's chest and tried to shoot Jayce but missed and instead shot the rope that tied him to the chair. Jayce sprang up, there was no time to grieve about Jarvan, and no time to even attempt to talk to Zic. Zic opened fire and Jayce threw his chair at him which stopped the firing for a second but not for long. But enough time for Jayce to kick open the door and run down the hall. He dove into the med bay where he had been knocked out. He heard Zic metal feet/boots jogging down the hall and waited for him to pass. He knew that once he pulled that beetle off of Zic's neck he would be fine, but he didn't know how to get it off. So he thought up the most logical way possible. He was going to cut it off.
Well guys since the comments last time were positive I figured I'd write another one, this one was a bit longer because I could not seem to find a good ending for it, so it may seem that it ends abruptly. Once again any feedback, questions or comments are awesome.
