There's no way in hell this would work. They made the decision [i]knowing[/i] his work is loved by literally the entire fan base, so there must be a legit reason behind it, regardless of how one-sided it is. The "without cause" thing makes absolutely no sense. You don't fire someone of his caliber simply for the lols. Could be anything. A pay dispute perhaps?
