I'm more than a little curious about the statue of the woman from one of the Venus backgrounds. Anyone recognize her? I'm no art scholar but the influence looks Greco-Roman, to me at least.
The accompanying text says there was once a great academy built on the shores of the sea on Venus. Maybe associated with knowledge and/or education?
Edit: Could she be Nike, the goddess of victory? Been doing some searching through Google, and that 'thing' she's holding in her hand looks similar to whatever Nike is commonly depicted as holding. (Don't know what type of academy would have a goddess of victory on the grounds though, unless it was a military academy.)
