What is Minimum?
Minimum is an online third person shooter with RTS and RPG elements. Teams fight over the world’s energy by using Titans to break down each other’s walls. Titans are powered by your team’s Creep farming abilities. It's published by Atari, and is currently being developed by Human Head. The game was originally created by defunct developer Timegate before the company went under.
What makes Minimum special?
Minimum borrows from the classic arena-based multiplayer shooters of the late 90s and early 00s. It also draws from other popular genres, such as RPG, RTS, and MOBA. The game places an emphasis on progression, both individually and as a team.
The game also takes a very deliberate and minimalist approach. The art style mimics that of voxel-based games such as Minecraft, using a limited color pallette and basic shapes to define character and weapons models.
What platforms is it on and when can I get it?
Minimum is currently slated for a PC only release, and it will be distributed via Steam's Early Access program. A definitive release date and price have not been set, but it is expected to release in the coming weeks. In the meantime, be sure to sign up for a Minimum Account here. Not only will you be ready to play when the game releases, but you'll be given an exclusive Armor Set! A Minimum account is needed because while the game will use Steam for transactions and matchmaking, other things such as player progression, stats, and inventories must be run through a custom backend.
What are the technical requirements?
Specific requirements have not yet been established, however, Human Head has stated that you'll need at least Windows 7, and any machine that can run typical Unreal Engine 3 games should suffice.
So? What do you think?
What do you think of Minimum? Does it look interesting to you? Feel free to discuss.
I'm personally very excited for the game, and if enough people show interest I'll start a private group for those who play. Maybe we could get some game lobby's going. Who knows?

Get TotalBiscuit on the case. That way this game will get all the publicity it needs. A shame a few people in this forum are so damned entitled they feel mention of a new game in a forum hashtagged "Gaming" is advertisement instead of the sharing of new content that might bring a few people some happiness. Hell, I've seen people advertise their games and websites and receive less flak. DAMN!
