Noticed this while viewing one of the videos from the latest tweets. Outlined in red in the above image you can see the words fading out "DIRECTOR ONLINE". So who might this "Director" be? A similar announcer like the one previously used in Halo titles? Or something else? Could this video have been captured using a "Theater" mode and the "Director" is the one that captures the videos?
What do you guys think?
*Edti* - cleared up by Foxlyy and Hylebos! Thanks for the reminder guys! :)

Edited by Hylebos: 4/27/2014 11:21:22 PMI asked that exact question in a Bungie Mailsack way back when in reference to this section of the last weekly update of 2013:
Next year, Bungie promises: • We’ll introduce you to the Director, and show you what will be on the menu in our brave new world.
This was DeeJ's response.
Hylebos Who is the Director? The Director is not a who. It is a what. Think of it as a guide. Think of it as an oracle. It’s equal parts war plan and treasure map.
Presumably it's the Active Roster 2.0, a system which allows you to hook up with your friends and find activities to do in the world of Destiny. I'm very interested to see how it's implemented :) Good find either way, I think that nicely clarifies Bungie's plan of information release for me.
